On the Panachrome and Pana40 they were labelled as they would be on the relays. Whereas on the Panachrome+ the labels are how the user would interact with the relays, the reason why they were switched is to make it more intuitive.

As we use safety circuits on the relays to keep them open, the relays are kept in a state opposite to the standard state for the relays. So NO is NC, as we are holding them closed. This is for safety reasons as if we lose power to the device then the relays will no longer be held closed and will trigger the doors to open.
